Today seemed like an appropriate day to post a blog for my next session of FosterU. While today we celebrate a great man that was able to bring a nation together to make a drastic change, it also represents what it means to be able to communicate your passion and beliefs in a way that inspires others to make a change and go after what they believe in and are truly passionate about. Dr. King wasn’t the first to fight for change, but it was his conviction and his passion for the cause, that led people to stop, listen and rally behind him.
When you have a passion and a dream to do something that seems so much bigger than you that you don’t even know where to begin, then you’ve found it… you’ve found your purpose in life. It’s there for a reason and that reason is this Passion and Purpose is what you are truly meant to be doing.
There are so many people out there that have a dream of starting a business but yet they have no idea where to begin. Or, they know where to begin but aren’t sure about how to run it or sustain it. Or better yet, they aren't clear about how to communicate their passion... their WHY... in order to sell what they are offering.
That’s what FosterU is all about. In my 6-week course, we will work through your Why (why are you starting this business), dive deep into your Passions (what fills you up and makes you feel complete) and create a solid Vision(where can you go with this) for your business. We will walk through the business fundamentals of finance and legal, develop your brand, build your sales strategy and your marketing plan, refine your focus and set you up with a solid business plan and action plan. We will set goals that are achievable in the years ahead and a tactical project plan to get you there. At the end of the course, you’ll have all of the tools you need to start, launch, build and sustain your new business.
The program kicks in the first week of February and space is limited. Contact me today for more information or with any questions about FosterU-Winter ’16 Session. I look forward to FosteringU.
