Energy is like a boomerang... what you put out, is what you get back.
Did you ever notice that when you're feeling negative, you tend to attract more negativity? Whether it's negative people, or negative thoughts? Those things lead to negative outcomes. Negative attracts negative.
When you shift your energy to positive, the same thing happens. You instantly start attracting more positivity in your life. Positive thoughts lead to feeling better about yourself. Your confidence increases. Your mood shifts. You automatically begin to feel different and the reason why, is because your body is producing different chemicals.
Start changing your life by focusing on the good and not the bad.
Here are a few tips for you to help you flip any negativity into positivity.
1) Think positive thoughts - wake each day and thinking about what you're grateful for.
2) Surround yourself with positive people. If you have friends or relatives in your life that bring you down, make it a point this week to tune them out.
3) Don't watch the news! I'm not even kidding. Can you change anything that happens on the news today? NO. Then why subject yourself to all of that negative shit on TV. Shut it down for just one week and see how you feel.
4) Let go of something from your past that brings you down. If you are mad at someone for something and it's eating at you, either choose to resolve it or LET IT GO! LET IT GO! LET IT GO!
5) Do something for yourself this week that makes you smile, makes you feel good about yourself and makes you happy. Giving yourself love is the first step towards allowing others to love you even more.
And one last bonus, write down 3 positive words that you or your friends would use to describe you. Put it in a place where you can see it. Then write down a short story of something you did that made you feel great about yourself. Next time you're feeling down about yourself, read that story as a reminder of how amazing you are.
